You will be responsible for completing condition surveys of our clients existing housing stock. You will receive comprehensive training and support to develop your skills and knowledge, and you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the field of building surveying.

Responsibilities:

Conducting condition surveys of existing housing stock to identify defects or areas of concern.
Using additional equipment and software.
Drawing upon your own knowledge of construction to support in providing accurate and detailed reports of each property, including photographic evidence, highlighting any defects or areas of concern, and recommending appropriate remedial actions.
Maintaining accurate records of all surveys, including survey data, reports, and photographs.
Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders as required.
Ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
Keeping up to date with developments in surveying technology and techniques.
Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in any built environment subject in at least third year
Strong academic record with a focus on building surveying, property, and construction.
Ability to draw upon your own knowledge of construction to support in providing accurate and detailed reports of each property.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
IT literate.

Job Type: Contract / Flexible Working hours

Salary: £75 per survey (max 4 per day)
