We are looking for an experienced Service Architect to join our partners’ fast and emerging consultancy in the UK. The role is based in the UK, predominantly remote work from home with occasional travel to client sites.

This is an ideal role for you if you are a self starter with at least 5 years experience working in a consultancy practice

Responsibilities:

Lead client engagements to undertake service design and service integration activities.
Provide expert guidance on how to enable and improve a service-focused organisation (Service Integration).
Design and deliver service designs that include client and 3rd-party integration of technology, processes and reporting.
Report status, issues and risks to internal Engagement Lead or Principal
Engage client Software, Operations, Technology and Risk teams to ensure Services are accurately reflected in Production systems as per the Service Integration Design
Develop ongoing continuous improvement plans, leveraging service metrics to perform trend analysis.
Utilise internal IP, methodologies, standards, processes, and procedures.
Collaborate with the internal engagement team to support other areas of ITSM and Risk Management projects as and when required.
Facilitate working groups and workshops with the client to achieve Service Design and Architecture deliverables.
Develop and present ongoing progress and delivery of the design aspects aligned to deliverables within the engagement.
Relevant Experience:

Minimum 7-years’ experience working in the financial services industry
5 years consulting experience in client facing roles that have had a Service Architecture focus.
Demonstrable background and experience in Solution Architecture roles, with some experience in Enterprise Architecture roles.
Core Competencies – Essential Criteria:

Demonstrable expertise at creating architecture-level service designs
Expert with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Requirements Management and Stakeholder engagement
Ability to work at different levels of abstraction and engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Minimum ITIL V3 certification
Excellent written and verbal skills
Able to work independently or as a member of a team
Positive mindset with a ‘Can Do’ attitude
Desirable competencies:

Min 5 years Consultancy experience
Working level or implementation experience (Remedy, Dynatrace, Splunk or similar tech)
Familiar with Cloud delivery, CI/CD, SRE, DevOps concepts
RFI/RFP or bid writing skills are a nice to have
ISO standards, SOC Compliance and Regulatory knowledge
AgilePM foundation
Understanding of Risk Management practices and standards
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: £90,000.00-£115,000.00 per year
